Description:
Frontenac Grape is a vigorous, cold-hardy vine known for its productivity and deep-colored fruit. It produces clusters of small to medium-sized dark purple grapes in late summer to early fall, often used for juices, jellies, and winemaking. The vine grows quickly and can be trained along trellises, fences, or arbors, adding both visual interest and a productive harvest to the landscape. Its lush green foliage also provides a nice seasonal backdrop before turning yellow in fall.

Standout Feature:
Extremely cold-hardy and highly productive—ideal for northern climates and home vineyards.

Interesting Fact:
Frontenac was developed by the University of Minnesota specifically for cold regions and is widely used in winemaking thanks to its high sugar content and rich color.
