Description:
Thiessen Saskatoon is a vigorous, upright-growing shrub known for producing some of the largest berries of any saskatoon variety. In early spring, it’s covered in clusters of white flowers, followed by an early summer harvest of large, sweet, blue-purple berries. The fruit is juicy and mild in flavor, making it excellent for fresh eating as well as baking and preserves. Its taller, more tree-like form makes it a great choice for larger landscapes, windbreaks, or edible hedging.
